Campobello Island is located at the entrance of Passamaquoddy Bay in southwestern New Brunswick, Canada, adjacent to the opening of Cobscook Bay, in the Bay of Fundy. Campobello Island is connected to Lubec, Maine, USA, via the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Bridge.

The island is 14 kilometres long, 5 kilometres wide, and covers an area of 39.6 square kilometres. In addition to the bridge connecting Lubeck, there are car ferries from Kashima and a ferry from New Brunswick. Most residents on the island are engaged in fishing, aquaculture or tourism industries. The island was initially settled by the Passama Kodi people, who called it Ebaghuit.
